They hiding in the back, in their pvc condo. Same place they have lived since babies. Dont venture out much if they have a batch of eggs. I will get a new pic of them when feeding perhaps, although most the time they stay in the back and wait for the food to come that way.

Only pics so far have been iphone, so no lighting problems with them. No more light problems than with my stupid 150w Phoenix. Need to get my camera out.

You do indeed have some great color there! When and where are you moving?

Kamloops Brett. Looking more like a spring move now than fall. At our age, have to make sure medical things are taken care of before changing provinces.

I have my 35g cube in the large cabinet I made, {as per my journal thread}. Its all packed and ready to go. May go larger depending on where we reside but most likely will just keep it.

Was thinking of running my halide along side the led fixture over it but halide heats the cabinet to much. Likely will get another SWC unit to run along side. Thought of one of the new Radion models but for less than $400 I can add another like mine.

Wow... look at you Doug with your iPhone and nifty LEDs.

P.S. Love the growth pattern and color on the Tri-color.

Hi Eric. I have none. Banished them some time ago. I do love my led fixture and corals doing pretty good. I had no luck with my 150w HQI fixture in my 35g cube but who knows. Could be other things related.

When I reset my cube up again, I was going to use both my 150 and the led fixture but now will either purchase another the same as mine for enough coverage, { 28in by 16in.} or the new Radion fixture.

Thanks Ryan. That tri colour is really doing well. Has encrusted out a lot and is now finally getting some vertical height. I could not get that bright blue with my halide. Even a brown stag, that was brown in my tank and brown and very large under Mikes halides, now has turquoise coloured tips under my leds.

The close up pics or my attempt at macro is from my Sony camera, with the cheap macro lens I purchased online, thinking it was the proper macro lens. It works as long as the subject is close enough.

spring move might be better, don't want to shock the body with a warm winter to soon but make it early spring so you have time to get used to the dry heat of the summer. I know my first summer I came here I thought I was going to die and I love hot

Cant see it being any earlier Steve, but ya never know. I sure liked it there but my wife was not to impressed. Have to work on that. She liked Chase however and funny enough north up around Clearwater but not Barriere.

The drive north on #5 and home on #16 was impressive. Much nicer than #1. Its a joke from Banff to around Salmon Arm or so.
