Charles Delbeek, noted reef aquarium author and senior curator of the new Steinhart Aquarium in San Francisco, is presenting a talk about their new 200,000 gallon reef display this Saturday from 2-4. I'm kind of envious. Any Vancouver presentations in the future? I had a chance to meet him when he worked at the Waikiki Aquarium, pretty nice guy. He gave me a personalized behind the scenes tour of the aquarium and even turned the pumps off on the reef display so I could get a top down look.
