I use a quiet one pump for mine. In my experience Mag drives are power hogs and generate quite a bit of heat. I would maybe look at other options Brett. Just my thoughts i just think a mag will create even more heat for you.

The mag 12 is 110w and the quiet one 6000 is 140w and both are quite close for flow?
You run your mag externally and notice a lot of heat added? |

I run my mag 7 externally and no heat generated at all.

Its my back up pump and i am using it right now sorry hahaha.

I just went and looked and i have a Mag 12 that was used for about 6 months or so. Want that? Or is it to large?

You can always throttle it down some if it's too much flow, it uses less electricity this way as well. HTH!
