![]() Do they have a rough/hard texture to them ? if so then is Halimeda Algae which is calcareous, and will drain ur calcium levels in your tank.

![]() No they don't Kevotron. They bend in the current and when I removed one it feels like a regular leaf. When the lights are on this stuff it is green, once the lights go out and I am looking into the tank with an LED flashlight they are more clear and white..they seem to loose their color. Weird?

![]() Hmmmm.....its the closest thing I have seen so far......the leaves on mine are scalloped shaped though. I searched "leafy rolled-blade algae" and the more pictures I see I would have to say no, I don't think so.
It started with just a couple and now I have a small garden growing on the side of the rock. Quote:

![]() That very well could be it ferret. There are many types of Stypopodium.....but there are at least one-two that it looks like. Thanks!

![]() You are welcome and I should have added sp after Stypopodium. I have a macro algae tank and keeping different types of algae is one of my favour other than keeping marine fishes.
