More to add after a brief holiday in Washington State.

An Obliging Dragonfly shot near Medical Lake WA.



One of many waterfall's along the highway we took from North Western WA to the Spokane WA area.

The dragonfly was the most obliging insect i think i've ever got. He let me get 1:1 on him without stirring. Thats a single exposure but would have loved to really set up and taken a focus stack at an even sharper aperture. I'll have to keep that tucked away on the to do list.

Find a dead one =) Awesome shots man. The detail in the dragon fly eye is incredible. That pic of the old truck indicates the ole stick shifter hasn't seen action in some time. I can really identify with that photo for some reason (thanks for that).

are you using a lightroom plugin for the border on the photo. ? those are some great shots, i love the old truck

Actually just FastStone Image Viewer. I just run the photos through the border tool they have then embed text afterwards.

As for the truck, I have a ton more pics from that visit. There's an amazing place over in northwestern washington where someone has a couple dozen pieces of machinery or old cars and trucks scattered all over his property rusting away. Some really interesting stuff. I'll have a dig through and find you a couple more.

Brett if your shifter isnt getting used then just double clutch and start shifting them yourself.
