![]() How about 2 pcs of 3/4" steel tubing cut to fit the inside length of the tank? Or you could use a couple of 1x4 or 1x2 pieces of lumber as the actual height is 3/4". You could cut out a piece of plywood to fit inside the bottom of your stand but I would still support it underneath with the 1x2's as even small sags can cause a tank to crack.

tank 50g and stand <36x18> I have had the 33 in a few shabby setups in the past but nothing that just holds on the short edges. wood support is probably easier for me than metal. Last edited by blacknife; 12-30-2010 at 05:16 AM. |

![]() you got that right unless your grizz and got a master welder cert. lol um id just say build a new stand that holds both properly im out in the garage tommorow building cabnets if you need guidance you have my number
