well, it saddens me to say that I now consider myself officially robbed of $140. I have been trying to get a hold of Lisa with the phone number to her house for the past couple of months (only getting her daughter and answering machine) but today it has been disconnected. I was really trying to give her the benefit of the doubt and hoping that it was just a misunderstanding. Heck, I'd be happy to just get a refund. Oh well, another expensive lesson learned..

I should mention here that I in no way blame or fault Big Als. In fact, Ryan at Big Al's has been quite considerate and helpful in the matter.

Would this be the same Lisa that cherry picked all the nice SPS colonies and then placed them in the center top tank so I could only drool at them?

Really sorry to hear about the money loss Kien, even more disappointed to hear that she has a kid. The world is messed up as it is, we don't need habits like this passed on .

Wow.. thats brutal to read through and see.. at the start I was like ohh.. some nice peices there.. and then by the end.. its a scam! Brutal..

I don't know about scam... many of us picked up colonies and took them home. She did tear down the tank. I really don't know what happened to her, but a day or two after I picked up the colonies I dropped by Big Als to talk with her for a few moments and they told me she would be out of town for a few days for a funeral- now she seems to have disappeared. Not really an excuse- but I am left wondering whose funeral and if it turned her life upside down for awhile.

Really sorry to hear that people paid and lost out on the livestock. You have to wonder why they would have sold fish from a tank marked NFS.
