Default Calibration Woes

Ok, who here despises calibrating equipment? I mean, it's always a freakin fight!!! How many times have you freshly calibrated something, turn it off, then retest the calibration fluid only for the dang meter to STILL be out of whack?!!! Arrrrrrrg!

I fought with my pH pen for a month before I decided the probe was shot. Now I'm fighting with my TDS meter that beeps as it hits the 342 ppm calibration mark, but low and behold I turn it off, turn if back on, retest the solution and it says 345 or 331 or something stupid like that!! So now I can't tell if my RODI is putting out 0 or 5 ppm. Some people don't care about 5 ppm, but in my world, that is the end of the world.
