Ok so I was thinking... We need T5s also. got to have some sort of suplement for the MH to get the color you want.

I agree. I like running a 13-15K MH bulb which usually will burn closer to 10-11K, and then add some supplemental T5s for color. Fiji Purple and AquaScience 17,500 (or 22,00K) FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, I just swapped my 96W of T5 for 175W MH We'll see how everything reacts

It will work, I wasn't that impressed with the preformance of my 175 when I added it to my PC/VHO set up. wasn't long befor I went to 250 watt.
