these are what bigals sell
http://www.marineland.com/sites/Mari...=3600&mid=3228

the biggest problem for me is the 27" depth, the 48x36" size is ok but has dual overflows and that can be a pain,
also if you put the overflow in the back corner good luck ever cleaning or catching fish from in thier with a 48x48 tank, unfortunately you would have to put it on one of the ends probably back left.
my tank is 48x24x28" and the 28" tall really gets to me everytime i drop something or need to pick up a frag also my overflow is in the back middle and i have to get on a ladder and hang way over the tank to get in that overflow so ill be shure not to do that ever again if i dont have to.
i would build a nice custom and maybe get a nice stand built but your probably gonna be $1200-1500 just on a stand and tank, by the time you have this done i might have mine started so ill have that other 8bulb tek light you need.

Hey! that's great Greg. There are a couple larger cube builds on RC (as I'm sure you know) that might be able to help you figure stuff out. One guy has a 4x4x2 cube (I think that's what it is anyways) and it's a great build thread.

Looking forward to whatever it is you decide...if the 90 is any indication, the cube will be killer

IMO go for a 6x4x2. that would give you great depth for coral placement,
and you would have lots of swimming room too.

hmm, you know I need to bust out the tape measure and the masking tape to see how that may look. If I move the positioning to another wall I might be able to get away with 6x4x2. and there is an electrical outlet right behind that spot.

I would never buy another used tank in my life. Did that once, didn't pan out so well so my lesson was learned.
