Identify this algae

Hey everyone hope this is the right section. Just need some opinions on identifying this algae so I can start dealing with it afer a long summer of neglecting the tank.

I think its' green hair algae, but it looks more like a brown fuzzy algae.

It looks like red hair algae to me.

yea although primaryily its looks brown. some spots where it has grown longer does look to get a reddish tint although nowhere near the red in the link posted by noirsphynx (thanks)

so mexican turbo snails will do the trick?
