![]() You'd have a lot of darkness on either side with a 4' fixture over a 6' tank.
With appropriate bulb selection and cooling fans added, SPS would be do-able with a tek 6x54W, but I'd recommend against getting it for your tank since it will look odd. Don't cheap out - save up the $ to do things properly the first time or you'll end up spending more in the long run. |

![]() T5 would be just fine for SPS and perhaps even superior to halides.. despite what the MH fanboys say
![]() ![]() You would really need a longer unit, or a combination of a 24 and a 48 to cover the length of the tank, and a 8 bulb fixture would work better considering the width of the tank.
