Buy some GFO put it in a filter sock or a reactor it should help a bit. Buy That TDS meter!
 Test your new water for phosphates before you put it in your tank as well.

Would'nt sweat the algae to much. Probably just the new tank algae blues. Looks good so far. Could you post some pics or details about your sump?
