I just have the worst luck with there. The first one I bought got sucked into a powerhead. The second was really slow at first and then motionless the next day, dead. And now this one disappeared. Ugh....

I have noticed in the back corner of my tank there are a bunch of empty snail shells accumulating. Maybe something is eating my snails and this seahare?

i have notices my hermits killing my margarita snails for the shells but wouldnt think they would have any interest in my seahare. its hard to tell how many as my jawfish grabs any shell burying them in his doorway so my rusty angel cant get in .

i found a Predator-esque pile of hermit shells outside this little nook in one piece of my foundation rock...turned out it was a gorilla crab. i caught one. then a week later a smaller one had taken its place. i couldnt catch this one, so i blinded it with a lazer pointer. now when i do see it it's wandering around like Mr. Magoo.

Sorry to bump a vacated thread...but mine did the exact same thing! I did the acclimation during the early evening...plopped it into it's new home...watched him for hours...then never seen him again I only have 50lbs of rock, so maybe I just re-landsdcape and see where he hides.
