It's a leather coral. The term "leather coral" can roughly be applied to any number of given soft corals that are of "leathery" texture. Whether or not they sprout polyps or "flower" is irrelevant. Trochu isn't a term you're going to get a lot of recognition out of. Toadstool leather is.

Either way, just dig your finger nail underneath the base of the coral and peel off. Don't worry too much about the damage, it can and will heal. Toadstools are VERY forgiving IME, and I've probably fragged nearing a thousand of the things.
