![]() Gord - I have a spare bucket of Seachem reef salt and am going through Dawson tomorrow if you want to try a different salt brand.
IMO you should not be getting any nitrate from freshly mixed salt. |

![]() no problems with heat fluctuations. i am running Chemipure carbon. I don't notice any immediate improvement or decline after a water change.

![]() How old is the system? Is it a barebottom system? I've heard of tanks getting wiped out because someone disturbed their old sand.
