![]() ![]() Ha. Ya maybe if I drill holes in the blade, I can get even smaller bubbles. Actually on a more serious note (maybe), I actually thought it would be cool to set up a blender nano... The polycarbonate container of my new one gave me the idea. I would put a small powerhead impellor in place of the blades then put an undergravel type grate over it so nothing got caught in the impellor. Then replace the motor with something a lot smaller - just enough power to gently turn the impellor. After that throw a LR spire and some sexy shrimp then plug it in and turn it on for built in water movement. I don't know if that has been done or not, but it will be... mark my words ![]() - Chad

![]() Ya, I've watched some of those commercials on utube - brilliant marketing!!
The vitamix is about the same as the blendtec - half of the commercial places use one and the other half use the other eg, Booster Juice is blendtec and Orange Julius is vitamix. In the end I chose this one over the blendtec because the reviews made it sound like the build quality and customer service were a little better. I just got the 2hp model. They make a 3hp model like the blendtec but I read that you should wear ear protection if you don't have one of those soundproof covers!!! As it was, I was worried about noise but fortunately, it isn't any louder than the 450w Osterizer it replaced. - Chad
