You can thank my urchin for the hammer frags, he dropped a very large rock on top and broke the hammer into 5 pieces.

You probably won't notice a change in colour (if it does go brown) on the monti's for a couple of months. I had them growing just fine, with good colour, under vhos in a 75g so you may be just fine
