African rainbow crab pic (Cardisoma armatum)
I have had a Cardisoma armatum for the past three years. The other day he decided it was time to moult again. This picture was takes shortly after that's why he is so purple.
His carapace is three inches across. I have read they can get up to 6 or 8 inches full size. He's in a 33 gallon tank. Just thought some people would like to see a different crab.
