something to try is to put a good coat on and see if it cracks the glass like two part has been knowen to do.

I remember that happening to a guy either on here or reefcentral, I can't remember...it was a big tank too...like 300+ gallons big. and the bottom just shattered.

i believe that tank cracked due to, in part, lack of support for the bottom pane and hole placements for the overflow. nobody else ever had it cracked

I recall reading about a few now, two of them were under 50 gal (one was a 20) but I am not sure if it was the same kinda stuff.

I think it was caused by the heat generated by the curing epoxy and the expanding glass that shattered those tanks IIRC. I think the big tank that broke belonged to a guy in Winapeg.

Doug did the same thing with his 170 or 90 gal looked really good too...
