No by all means Bev you are not a stick in the mud. This is why i posted what i'm doing for this nano. Cause i dont have any idea what to put in there. If it's a big tank well then I your man in a way...

As for the Shrimp I meant that i will have one or the other not all of them.. The free swimming ones i thought about is i very a runt Green chromis that i hve in my 170 gal its about 1
" if that and haven't grown since my 62 gal tank. Ad it should do good in there will see what happens. The chromis is realy easy to catch due to it eats out of my hand and lets me touch him/her..

With the gobies, sounds like you need a male/female pair so they don't fight. Might be hard to distinguish male from female in all species you picked, though I'm no expert. Also, the two spot goby grows to 3" while the other two only grow to 2". Personally, I would go with only one (not a pair) of the 2" species, and perhaps get a mid-water swimming fish, though I don't know what to recommend in that regard.

Also, DO NOT get a coral banded shrimp! They are predators!!!! Especially in a small tank like yours.

Try to keep your bioload to a minimum and you won't have cyano or other nuisance algae problems down the road.

Twin spots I find are usually sold in pairs anyways. I find that they don't do well alone & its very obvious once they pair up. They're so cute (if fish had hands, these would be holding hands).

ah man, all this goby talk, makes me wish I put some kind of cool goby pair in my tank like these guys... they are pretty cool looking fish. I love my Yellow Watchman.. he's a character alright...but I like fish that have cool colours and just overall neat markings on the body. But that could be another option for you Mike... a Yellow Watchman with a pistol shrimp.. I think it'd be pretty entertaining!
