the 10000k was very WHITE, the actinic was blue, which I like over the purple actinic..they were bright..much brighter than his 4x65w coralife fixture...or so it seemed. Perhaps because the bulbs were new versus old PCs. they made his tank look bright and clean.
the color is similar to a 13000k giessman megachrome if you've had the chance to see those...very nice coloration from fish and corals. not sure what the CRI is for the 10000k PFO bulb.
