Default Largest tank size in BC, or Canada

Hello,

Okay I've read plenty of large 450g, 500g, and even 4000g aquariums in the US. But who has the largest one in BC, or Canada? I wonder how expensive it is to make one of these, or rather to transport one.

Does this include businesses like restaurants or just private individuals?

An idiot guy here in Victoria has a 2000g glass death tank.

I personally think that unless some one is propagating corals and contributing something to the reef hobby, it is awefully selfish to keep a massive home aquarium. 4000 gallons is just rediculous.. Yeah we'd all like to scuba in our own home reef, but come on! His tank takes up 20 times the consumption of the average person's tank..

Hello,

Wow a 2000g glass tank? My goodness. I wonder how much and heavy is that.

Sorry, what are this 7500g tanks? What is a time share presentation and where is pacific sands? Are these two tanks for display, or for fish that they cook?

pacific sands is a nature resort up island, the two tanks are for display in the restuarant. time share is like well .. instead of buying a condo you buy a part of it and share the time with other people. so you buy one week out of the year type thing, but much more complacated than that as you can use your week in any of the members resorts not just your home one.

I have a customer here in kelowna and he has a 500reef 475predator 4 others in the 200-400range and he is just filling up his 3000+ tank. It is a glass tank with proper reinforcing and I think its great!! I would have one in a sec if I had the room actually next year when I buy a house I will have one ; )

Benifits:
having almost all your favorite fish and they get along, seeing a school of 20 powderblue tangs, not feeling so bad for that vlamingaii.
