My daughter's labour stopped progressing, so they put her on an oxytocin drip. By the time the nurses had increased the dose to 96 "somethings", her contractions were one right after another. She couldn't keep up and was in tears when they suggested an epidural, which she agreed to immediately. Two hours later, from out in the hallway, I heard Rebecca's first cries

I have goosebumps now just thinking about it
And to think I gave birth to my daughter at home with the assistance of two wonderful midwives. It was great
