Hi All, I didnt get that valve. The pump isnt too powerful so I wont miss it.
Yes, definitely raise your pump to within 2 inches of the surface. Protein Skimmers work better when the pumps are close to the surface. Masked Reefer - You got a steal at $114. J & L's wins again! The 65 gal version was $149 at King Eds. I also overpaid for high compact florescent bulbs at King Eds, so I am starting to get miffed  Oh well, live and learn. Raq
