For sale is a DIY Kalkwasser reactor. It worked well when in use, has been sitting in storage for the last couple years taking up space. Selling for parts only as you will need to add your own stirring motor to the top and any modifications. I used a stepper motor with a Arduino project. Do the same or fashion something with a BBQ rotisserie motor, or a handle and stir it daily.

This design is not a sealed unit. Fresh water is introduced from the 1/4" NPT fitting at the top and as the water level rises it will spill out the side outlet fitting. I used large diameter outlet so there is no chance of clogging and causing a overflow. The lid is routed so it sits on the edge of the acrylic body, and requires no mounting hardware. Just lift it off to add your kalk or add it through the top hole around the shaft.

The body of the reactor is approximately 15.5 " high and 6" in diameter.

** NOTE I lost the mating side of the spider unit for the stirrer rod, but they can be found on eBay or any robotic shop. The stirring rod is 3/8" diameter.
















DIY Calcium Reactor. Will require some replumbing, regulator and a CO2 source. Will include a Mag 2 pump that I no longer need. You can modify how you want the unit to operate by reversing the connections tubing. Plumbing connections are 1/2" NPT. Reactor body is 6" in diameter and 13" in height. Unit height is about 17".

Have some extra nylon screws and O-rings that I can include.

I do have a bag of used media if you are picking up.
