Thanks Levi! The reason is because i got the hood fan for free from my sister
She renovated her kitchen last year and decided to use a different hood fan after purchasing that one and she didn't get around to returning it to the store. It was sitting in her garage collecting dust so I dusted it off and installed it. I'm not a huge fan of it (see what I did there?) but it gets the job done and was free. I might look into getting a new one next year.
By the way, I am currently in the market for a new refrigerator. Just thought I'd put that out there. *wink*wink*nudge*nudge*
