Actually used my birthday money to buy something nice for myself

Nice thing about being Asian is getting red envelopes for birthdays instead of an ugly sweater you'll never wear, except for "Ugly Sweater" day at work. Since I am self-employed, I don't even need a US for that reason.

Leaves Christmas open for the next beautiful coral, etc. that catches my fancy.
