Default Leopard Wrasse mating?

Boy, lots of action in my tanks lately!

I have a couple Leopard Wrasse's (Macropharyngodon meleagris). The male I've had for over 4 years and watched him transform from a small 2" female to a large 4" male. He is one of our favorite fish, so after he changed into a male, I purchased another female. I've had her a little over a year. Both are super healthy and eat like pigs.
For the most part they ignore each other, but lately hes been more aggressive to her and over the last week or so, right after the lights go down to blue only, he will swim up to the top of the tank then make a big splash on the way back down. I'm thinking this is a little mating ritual. Anyone have any experiences like this with wrasses?
