FT: LED for MH-DE Fixture

Or do a MH DE/LED combo; the best of two worlds, still have a MH punch with good 470 nm actinic supplement without T5 HO heat and power issues.
I now have 4 x 36" inch blue 470 nm LED, 2xwhite 36" inch 10K LED and MH DE 2x250W is on for only 6 hours. I will reduce that to 4 hrs gradually. because all corals are happy with LED's at least at the moment.

If LED's will last for two years it will be good or even one year because they cost as much or less then new T5 bulbs that need to be replaced every year.
After a year or so LED's will cost even less.
Quite like the outcome.
