Anyway, I also like to take it off the plug. Although I haven't gotten a frag in probably over a year. I prefer unmounted frags actually. I jam it in a hole or glue it directly to the rock in my display. Works well. But I do mount frags for grow out onto discs or plugs cause it makes selling easier. I found that people often chose the frags that we're on plugs or discs over the ones on golf tees (plastic) so I stopped using golf tees. Sometimes I will glue newly acquired frags onto a old tee for mounting purposes. I've also stuffed a frag into a plastic drywall anchor before and then "screwed" the anchor into a hole in the rock, that way, once the frag is encrusted, the anchor is not visible as it is flush with the rockwork. I find that frags will encrust faster without the use of glue (stuffing it in an anchor)
