My first BC tidal tank when I was 10 years old (collected the seawater, crabs, mudskippers, clams, mussles, periwinkles, sand dollars etc. locally when the local waters were much cleaner).
Owned my first seahorse when I was 12 years old, back when LFS sold bags of live adult brine shrimp for $1. My first small fish only (33g) when I was 13. My first large fish only (110g) when I was 14. I had a Passer King angel, Moorish Idol, Smooth Horn SHARK, Snowflake Moray in a tank with crushed coral gravel over an undergravel filter with 2 HOB & 1 cannister filter. No live rock. No skimmer. No high tech sw equipment at all back in the 80s. Hand fed the fish, especially the shark with smelts, squid, etc. Anthony
