Oh, I'm sure it could be made strong enough It's all in how the fiber is laid. If they can make crash structures for race cars that can withstand 50g impacts and jet fighter wings that can handle the forces of sudden 9g maneuvers of 30 ton aircraft I think they could make a stand for probably less than 50 gallons of aquarium and water. Just think about how it would look in a man cave

Those do look thin in the pictures but the specs say they are 12" or 14" deep depending on the size. They do look cool too.
