Hi,
Mine was a cool looking algae that i was told would be beneficial to the tank! I couldn't understand why it would retract when i touched it? Turned out that it was a colony of the hydroid "Pom Pom"......  Needles to say i flushed it and then had a few stern words with the LFS..... Regards, Simon.
