![]() I havent posted in ages but to reintroduce myself to anyone who might not know me
im reef-kid, from victoria bc also known as fishboy or david. I just spend a week on hornby island at my family camp site, it was one of the lowest tides i have seen on sandpiper (a rocky sandstone/volcanic beach) filled with crab, oysters, scallops, abalone, octopus etc... its some of the clearest and warmest (26 degrees celcius in the bay due to the hot sand/sandstone) water I have ever seen around the coast. so i have a few pics of my fun time exploring ![]() i thought that otherwould really enjoy some of these pics ![]() sea blubber at big tribune bay. 3 feet across! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() me with one of the cod i caught while kayaking around the bay with my fishing rod ![]() this is top down of 3 large 5+ inch abalone on the reef ![]() ![]() I wanted this shirt but it was expensive ![]() ABALONE ![]() under an abalone ![]() red urchin in water ![]() and out of water ![]() hope you enjoy ![]() reef kid |
