thinking of new camera, help decide

Well, I got some Air miles to use up here, and we need a new camera. Now, I would like a waterproof one, so I can take snowmobiling, and to the beach etc. BUT, I also love some of the sweet macro shots people are getting here.

I'm thinking with the Waterproof one, I can just put in the tank to get awesome shots??
