Doug,
If you look at the motor casing on the very top of the pump you will see one tiny hole at the very front of it and one at the back inline with each other.(just before the front and back caps on the motor) This will drip the oil onto the front and back of the armature. There are no rubber plugs in them,just rubber edges on the holes.
