![]() Unfortunately the fatalities probably aren't over yet. I usually find I lose a few in the first two weeks, then natural selection kicks in after about a month or so and more kick off with no warning. At this point 15/16 is a terrific survival rate, but don't be surprised if you end up around the 10/16 mark by 8-10 weeks.
![]() I'm not trying to be a bummer, just based on my experience over the past year raising 4 broods thus far. And in related news, my stupid male has refused to hold the last three pregnancies! Hangs on for about a week, then one day no eggs. Very frustrating! :x
