Default 35g hex

Has any one used a hex tank for a reef, I have a 35g hex sitting at my inlaws that I want to use as a salt tank.

Iam thinking that I would start with just live rock for about 2-3 months, maybe a pair of clown fish.
I want to go with very light load since I just want to use a canister filter.
I would want to use my coralife light, I belive its about 36wats. So not alot of light. I dont think there would be any corals that would realy like that too much. Unless they are very high up in the tank.

I dont think I have ever seen a hex salt tank, anyone have any experiance with a hex.
