Yeah they are extremely difficult to keep alive due to thier need of daily feedings of newly hatched live BBS.
On a side note, you should not keep just one. One dwarf seahorse would need a 1-gallon tank, and probebly wouldn't be happy solo. A group of 5-10 is best kept in a 5 gallon tank.  -Diana
