If I have this right you're using a Tunze wave controller to run Hydor or Koralia pumps. You ask if Koralia would make the same clicking noise as Hydor? Aren't they one & the same company/pump?

Either way, a Tunze controller may or may not be compatible with Hydor/Koralia pumps? Did you check the specifications with regard to voltage requirements etc? Buying used can be a great way to save money & get the results you need, but research is still required to ensure things work well together. Maybe keep an eye out for used Tunze or even VorTechs. A few $$$s more to be sure, but if a wave without clicking noise is what you're after, bite the bullet already. Eat beans & wieners for a while to save up the extra sheckles.
