Have you ever paired a goby and shrimp?

I have had a pair for over a year now and they are always together. I got them when I had a fowlr but now that I have added corals and my sandbed is covered with chalices and zoas, the pistol shrimp is starting to drive me nuts. I wake up in the morning or get home from work to discover them burried or pulled into the shrimps burrows. I started to stick pieces of rock to try and block off the entrances to a few of the ones nearest to the chalices but it always finds a way around them, lol.
