All the literature I have read, and all the pictures I have seen of them on reefs have been huge shoals. Most shoaling fish tend not to shoal very well in our small tanks though because we don't have room for enough of them, and we can't keep predators in our reefs to convince the fish they need to shoal. Hehe.
