What I am asking is that if I just have a bucket of salt, how much will I need to make a gallon of water of standard SG. IO says 1/2 cup, but that is irrelevant to me as I don't know how big of a cup to use. Hence I am asking for the metric amount that a cup holds. If I know the gms or ounce, then I can measure it out.
