Question for all w/6ft 200gal and up tanks

I am in the same boat as you right now. I'm in the process of setting up my 280 (72x30x30) and am also undecided on what to do for flow. I currently have 2 MP40W's and was thinking of getting a couple more. Just wondering where you got the info about replacing the wet sides every year? One of mine is over a year old and I haven't had any problems with it so far. I was thinking about getting a spare wet side just so I could rotate through them and give each one a good soak in vinegar every 6 months or so.
