Whats the condition of the impeller? Have you changed the impeller at all or is it still the original one?

I would suspect a worn/damaged impeller is causing your troubles. I have replaced the impeller once on both my Mag 9.5 and Mag 7 pumps, usually when the pumps get too noisy. Good idea to replace the impeller cover at the same time.

My pumps work like new after I put in the new impeller and cover.
