All copper treatments absorb into the gravel, rock and glass of the aquarium. After treatment the copper should be removed by using Kordon NovAqua. Can be used in both freshwater and saltwater tanks.

In reading a couple of other articles about food contamination they say some glass will but not all.

No one answering you made me read some really heavy articles by chemists...way over my head.
