Where to buy bulbs locally

Hey guys,(and ladies too of course), I'm soon due to replace bulbs,(PC & flourescant). I'm REALLY dumb when it comes to bulb "specs". I normally get 'em from JL Aquat. but was wondering if theres anyone local thats competative. Thanks in advance... ps who/what is MOPS ?
