port alberni fishing

In the area and my ifish app seems to suggest a whole ton of fishing spots exist around here. My boats at home so hoping to find a decent spot just to spin cast off shore, freshwater only as that's all I'm licensed for. I'm pretty confident there's a few people here who know a little something about fishing so I'm asking for any advice on a spot if you're willing to share. I can keep a secret if you'd prefer to PM Can return the favor if you're ever up in my end of the woods.

I have limited tackle here, mostly geared for bass or trout but can pick up a few things if you want to share your favorite lures as well.
