Gotta be rough with it. I did it pretty drastically and I got consistent batches for those stubborn salt brands. I didn't have to do it for instant ocean.

Only the self proclaimed experts.
To me it would make more sense to pour the salt from one bucket to another a few times. Everybody has spare buckets. I don't do that either but makes more sense than rolling it

Both salinity and temperature fluctuate in the ocean, which actually makes for stronger corals.

Don't worry so much.

I don't have to roll my pails, my water change tank takes exactly 1 whole pail... Lifting it to dump in in on the other hand

Exactly. If it needed it, that's really the only way it would work.

I didn't say I did it; just saying that is what was actually noted. The salt comes in a heavy duty bag inside the bucket, so mixing/stirring would be pretty easy I imagine just by pouring it back and forth a few times between a few buckets.

I currently don't do SFA with regards to mixing my salt... But let's say a guy wanted to mix it really well.........

Would you take 1 new bucket and a few empty buckets (maybe 3 or 4) and distribute, then re-distribute, then re-re-re-re-distribute the salt back and forth between the buckets to ensure an even 'shuffle'?

I think the cloud generated (even during the most careful transfer) would be TERRIBLE

?
